This Is A Wee Bit Late..

BUT!
If you still have not been able to find a good gift for me, I'd very much enjoy a copy of sheet music of cruella devile song. Not the watered down, simplified version either. I know I'm not nearly talented enough to play it right off the bat, but I am hoping I could maybe get some if it down.
If its too late, that's okay. I will go to the music store myself and find it.
Just so everyone knows what's going on with me... (because I know you all care...)
For Christmas I think Saturday is going to be gift exchange at Korey's. I may drive up Friday night, I may stay Saturday night, I'm not sure, but I will be up there a majority of the day and night.
Sunday we are planning on coming to the Christmas Eve party. I'll have to find some flannel for Korey.... *snicker* I'll probably spend the night at home Sunday night. Christmas day I'll probably stay until after dinner but then I've got to get some serious packing done. -_-; I've not even thought about it thus far...

AND AN IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Pay attention while driving!!! Traffic is very bad and hard to deal with this time of year but I saw THE WORST accident today and I'll admit I've been a bit negligent and absent minded recently, so this woke me up. The teenagers' car who caused the accident was 1/2 its original size. They slammed into the person in front of them, bringing their hood into the drivers seat and sliding the car they smashed into right up into the car in front of it and the car in front of that car. The person behind the accident causing car smashed into the back of it, bringing the back of the accident causing car right through the back seats.

And, on a happier note, my grades for the semester are as follows:
Writer's Workshop: A (Hell yeah!)
Tech. Writing: A (A large, happy, sigh of relief...)
Foundations of TCOM: A
Ecology: C
Yeah, a C isn't so great, but I'm through with my science core now and the last class I have to take that I anticipate not doing so well in is Pre-Calc... yeah, I know, again. -_- Then it should be mostly A's from then on out.
And, while my Cumulative GPA is a 3.02, I can always say my Major GPA is a 4.0! ^_^

Here Comes Christmas!

I am very much looking forward to Christmas this year. I can't wait!

2 Weeks

So Christmas Eve is in 2 weeks and i found out today we're going to have a appetizer dinner before our campout. So I was wondering if we could have Root Beer Floats as a drink on the Menu. I love them!
Anyhow, I dont know about the rest of you but I know I'm ready for this semester to be over. I jest need it to be next week. This coming week is going to be so stressful.
Im so looking forward to our campout and Christmas Break in general. WOOH!
Oh and I have another suggestion. Could we play a board game on Christmas Eve? That'd be fun!

To My Secret Santa!!!

Well, to tell you the truth, i dont know exactly what I want.
  • I have an amazon wish list going and if you go there then you can get me anything off of there. There are like 27ish items on there.
  • Anything disney will make me happy!
  • Socks
  • Gift Cards (Disney store, Boarders)
  • I like board games. Trivia games mainly. I do have a lot of games so be careful with that one.
  • Anything else you think I might like.

I'm so very sorry if this doesn't help.

Three things

Hi everyone!

I was just posting to say a few things:

1) I got my i-pod back already! Or well...they replaced it. So I got a new one. Woot. Apple (even if some people don't like them) is pretty sweet about customer service.

2) I got a B on my last calc test! It was only an 80 but it was my highest grade all year. So unless I do something REALLY stupid, I will end up with a C. That care package is coming in handy...more like making me FAT in addition to how stressed I am! :D

3) Some people (...Mom and George and Cheyenne...) still haven't posted what they want from their secret santas. I don't know who has them but that really isn't fair. So someone who is home, get on their case about that.

Um..yeah. That is it I guess.
Except I have this funny sesonal themed picture for you. Can you guess what that is?

Hope everyone is well.
<3 Em

Secret Santa....

Okay. Here we go.... I can't really think of things I want so much, but I'll try.

- A bunch of kitty cat themed socks! =^..^= Seriously, I feel old now, but I need some socks...
- A pair of leather or faux-leather but not knit gloves for driving - black or light brown
- I liked Veronica's "a cute purse", big enough to fit a checkbook wallet in.
- Final Fantasy I & II for the Gameboy Advance (I know Amazon had it for $19.99 for a while)
- A Nintendo DS wireless link thing. Actually, I'm not sure what it is because I've never seen it, but it lets the DS go wireless. Therefore, I have no idea of the price.
- A set of four nice big mugs

Wow, the things you want when you get older seem stupider and stupider.... -_-;

Georgia Tech: Not So Subtle

So, in mid October, I received a letter from Georgia Tech. Seems they wanted me to buy a care package for Emma during finals week. Well, it sounded like a nice idea anyway, but they really put the hammer down! Talk about a guilt-trip! Here is the actual text of the letter:

Subject: Send A Care Package To Help Your Student Through Finals

Two students showed up to get their Care Packages. One beamed when she received her package. The other, whose family had not reserved a package, immediately used her cell phone and called Mom with a plaintive "You didn't send me a Care Package?"

Because so many students receive Care Packages during exam time, it can hurt if a student is left out...
...
A Care Package is tangible proof that the people students count on are thinking of them at exam time. It makes them feel supported, not alone.
...
If you've sent one before, you already know how much it helped. If you haven't, you can be sure your student will appreciate receiving the same kind of support other classmates receive.

Now that's talent. Well you can bet I ran to my desk and whipped out my checkbook that very day. Fortunately, they had a vegan-friendly Fruit Basket Pack or I would have been in a real pickle.

Emma got her care package today and says it's really nice. I'm glad. So if she bombs her Calc II final, at least it won't be my fault!!!!
